The Study Without Stress for Professionals eTraining course will enable psychologists, school counsellors and teachers in wellbeing/mental health support roles (e.g. pastoral care teachers), and other mental health workers or wellbeing staff with relevant qualifications and experience, to implement the Study Without Stress program within a school environment or in a clinical setting.
SWoS Online is a collaborative group program, which allows for students to be guided through by a SWoS trained facilitator. This training is available for school counsellors, psychologists, teachers and other professionals working in wellbeing/mental health support roles (e.g., pastoral care teachers) with relevant qualifications and experience. Schools can organise for professionals to facilitate the program within their school. Click here for further information on becoming a SWoS facilitator.
Check with your school’s wellbeing team to learn if they offer the SWoS Online Program. The SWoS Online program is also offered as a face-to-face program within schools. Otherwise, the Emotional Health Clinic, located at Macquarie University, can offer the Program during individual therapy sessions. Students are taught a range of skills to help them manage stress. Skills are presented and discussed in each session, and students will be expected to practice these skills by applying them to their own life to get the most out of the course. The program has 8 modules with activity sheets to complete during each session as well as at home between sessions.
